‘Operation Sindoor’ Explained: How India's forward posts crushed enemy threats

Akhnoor (J&K), May 20, 2025: The forward posts in J&K’s Akhnoor became a symbol of India’s tactical edge during ‘Operation Sindoor’. From these strategic positions, Indian forces destroyed several Pakistani posts, demonstrating the Army’s firepower and precision. To monitor enemy movement across forward areas, the Indian Army deployed advanced surveillance technology. These systems enabled constant monitoring of enemy activities during ‘Operation Sindoor’ and allowed for rapid targeting and response. The IGLA missile proved to be a game-changer against Pakistani fighter jets and kamikaze drones. It can be launched from virtually any location, providing flexibility and speed in dynamic combat situations. Recently inducted into the Indian Army, Armado Light Specialist Vehicles were used during ‘Operation Sindoor’.
