St. Patrick's Day Parade features Wauwatosa East band ahead of trip to Dublin

Mar 10, 2019

Wisconcin (USA) March 10: It's a tradition more than 50 years strong.
From finding the best seats to getting the cameras ready, people packed downtown Milwaukee Saturday for the 53rd annual St. Patrick's Day parade.
The celebration snaked its way through the streets and featured several local high school marching bands, including the Wauwatosa East Red Raiders.
The members are set to play in Dublin's St. Patrick's Day parade.
"We've been working for the last month and a half preparing for the parade," said band director Jen Lato. "They're ready to go. They're focused, and they're so excited for the opportunity to perform here and in Ireland."
The band leaves Wednesday. It will be the school's first time marching in Dublin's parade.
