Over 400 stranded Sri Lankans arrive in the island today

Colombo (Sri Lanka), November 21: A total of 417 Sri Lankans who were stranded in foreign countries due to COVID-19 pandemic arrived at the Katunayake this morning (21) on several flights.
According to the National Operations Center for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), as of this morning (21), the Emirates flight EK 667 from Abu Dhabi with 21 passengers, the Qatar Airways flight QR 668 from Doha -Qatar with 42 passengers and the SriLankan Airlines flight UL 1026 from India with 58 passengers and the flight UL 218 from Doha, Qatar with 296 passengers have arrived in Colombo.
All those passengers were referred to Quarantine Centers, managed by tri-services upon their arrival after formalities at the airport, the NOCPCO said.
