Tripura Medical College & Dr. B.R.A.M. Teaching Hospital (TMC)
Established in 2006 at Hapania, Agartala, TMC is a trust-run institution with an annual intake of 100 MBBS seats. The majority of its seats are filled through the state quota, while a portion is reserved under the management quota -- notably, this is one avenue through which candidates from outside Tripura can also seek admission via the state counselling.
Tripura Santiniketan Medical College (TSMC)
The newest entrant, TSMC received NMC approval and admitted its first MBBS batch in 2024 with an intake of 150 seats. It operates alongside a large multi-speciality teaching hospital.
